In December (maybe Dec 17th), my Mom's ipad freezed (after she accidentally clicked on some link or ad) it said to call a number for support, she did, they said her computer had been hacked and she needed to log-in from another device to solve and pay $199, which she did. She let them on to her computer to help "solve" the problem. She called me after this, and I told her to shut everything down, call Apple for the Ipad, and go to the local computer tech store since they got into her computer. We did our due diligence cleaning up accounts, passwords etc. TODAY, they called back and said the computer was pinging them - couldn't have been since its been shut down. I asked some questions prior to starting in to get information on them. Name they go by: PC Global America Sky Web, EIN number 95-4834819, the caller was Steve Atkins, the number they gave me for the business is (909) 506-2023 shows up as Claremont, CA on caller ID.
