He said his name was Alex and he was from PC Experts. He had a very thick Indian accent. He has called the home phone everyday it seems like for a very long time. I have answered and pretended to follow his directions. He wants you to go on your computer and hit control and R. then type in 1234computer.com. Im not sure what it does but my grandpa answered the phone one day and was on his computer while talking to him on the phone and next thing you know there a picture of a warning sign on the desktop background. What ever directions they gibe you its just to give them access to your computer. He still calls hoping to get a hold of my grandpa.

Last year I let Grant Miller of PC Experts into my computer. I worked with Paypal and my credit card and got most of my money back. Then 2 days ago, I got a call from Justin. He said he was with Microsoft. He said they were shutting down their business and wanted to refund the money I had paid $499 from when I had paid to have my computer repaired. Then he said they would also fix the computer, and put security on my computer. He said not to take a call from anybody else. So, yesterday, I checked my bank account and saw that Coinbase had taken $250 out of my checking account. I called Justin. I said I have not accepted any calls from anybody but you, and I'm missing $250 from my checking account. He said it wasn't us. I said it had to be you. He said "It's not us. It's Grant Miller, he's getting back into your account". Today, I checked my account, and another $60 is gone from my checking account. I called them. They said they wanted to refund $1380 top my credit card, not take anything from my checking account.

Received a phone call from PC Experts who said they were going out of business and wanted to refund money paid to them (199.00). That amount did not seem familiar so I asked when it was paid and was told it was taken from my bank debit card on a certain date. While on the phone, I checked my bank statement and saw I did not have a debit of that amount on that date. They insisted I did and wanted to refund it by putting $300 on my Amazon account and then transferring it to my debit bank account. While my husband was on the phone I called Amazon and they told me it was absolutely impossible to transfer money on a gift card to my debit bank account. Well, they did transfer $300 after telling me I paid only $199 and then proceeded to buy Nintendo ecards with the money. I asked them what they were doing and was told that the Nintendo gift card money would be transferred to my bank account. So I hung up on them. Amazon cancelled the Nintendo e cards and I changed my password. But I still have that money on my gift card. Have no idea how they were exactly going to scam me. Amazon never heard of it either. Wondering if they were going to spend the money they put on my Amazon card, buy 300 dollars worth of gift cards and then remove the 300 off my gift card . Whatever ! All I know is they weren't going to transfer the e cards to my debit account. And somehow I would be out that money. But now I'm ahead!!

It started last year, I had bought a new laptop and about a month later I had recieved a call saying that my computer had been hacked and for a fee they would install a antimalware program. I said ok because they had showed me some errors coming up in my pc. They charged me 799.00 for a lifetime membership to protect my pc from hackers so I felt secure. Then 3 months later they started calling me and saying that they were getting bad signals from my IP adress and asked to go back into my pc and they were showing more errors and said I would need a network security package. I am not real smart I guess because I asked why when I had this other protection from them they stated this would ensure no more hackers would be able to access my Ip adress again. Now they have called and wanted more money because supposedly the security was deleted off and I would have to pay again for the security to be put back on. They have all my personal info I am pissed. Out another 999.99. HOW STUPID COULD I have been.
