I just got email claiming to be from PayPal about an account and crypto and some pending deposit... totally scam. Phone number given is scam. Sent to my email but NOT the one associated with my PayPal account.

Several emails said PayPal sent me money (PayPal gift card) as an “Easter Reward”. The emails told me to claim my reward, and each of them had $1000 as a payout.

I receive an email stating the company was with paypal and my account was going to be charged and if i didnt agree with the charges for BITCOIN. I needed to call the 888-742-3176 number.

Call 8883093656 if suspected fraud on paypay. I called the number, I was asked if I had a computer. I stated it was none of his business, he became angry and verbal. Iasked to speak to a supervisor. He stated one would call in five minutes. Call was terminated his call center. The supervisor never called.

I received an email from what looked like PayPal. It included a receipt for an amount of money charged to my PayPal account. It included a phone number to call if I had any questions. I called the number because I do not have a PayPal account, but my deceased husband did. I called to cancel the account. The person I talked to stated PayPal would reimburse my bank account for the amount charged. Through Teamview, they were able to actually see my bank account that I had logged into. In the process of supposedly reimbursing my account, they put in an amount much larger than the amount the email stated had been charged to the PayPal account. This person then stated I needed to pay him back the amount they credited to my account or I could be arrested. I then hung up and logged off of my bank account.
