Keep getting e mails saying they need me to sign a document on a PayPal account that I didn't know I had. This money was being deposited into a coin bit account which I have never had an account with. The emails come in 3 or 4 at a time each in a different amount of $400 to $800

On 2/3/25 I received 3 emails and on 2/4/25 I received 4 emails. All sent about 5am. All said same “Unauthorized Payment Processed from Your PayPal Account”.

All said “PayPal Customer Care sent you a document to review and sign”. Under that message is a place to click and “Review Document”.

They went on to say that they identified an unauthorized transaction made from PayPal account to Coinbase. In the amount of 412.45. They provided a transaction number. And a date. The first few emails on 2/3/25 said it happened on 1/31/25. The second set of emails said date was 2/4/25.

They asked me to call 833.666.3086, Customer Support team, to get full refund.

I didn’t open any of these emails nor did I click on “review document”.
