i had a very loud alert go off on my computer on aug.22,2020. the guy told me that i had child porn on my computer and could get from 5-20 years for this! while we were talking, i could not find the button to turn down the noise, so the guy got frustrated and did it himself. he had complete control of my computer. he told me i needed to put 999 on my card to have five years of protection. he was on the phone with me, while he was also on line. he heard the card number and said to charge my card for 999. i told him i don't have that kind of money but he did it anyway. he then told me it would take him an hour to go through my computer to make necessary changes. he sai his boss would be calling me as i told him i had to eat something. i was on the phone with my daughter and did not answer a unknown number when he called me back, he told me i had missed his bosses call. i told him i don't answer unknown numbers. his name was jason i believe. when i called the fraud alert with citi, they told me i had to wait 3-5 days for the amount to post. i called back today and was told it went through today. she was temporarily taking off my card, but said that one of the other ladies told me i would be getting a new card. i am not sure, as no one ever got back to me to say when it was coming, etc. as yu can tell, i am still upset and not able to make sense as i am trying so hard to write and think about all of this. i have never had anything like this happen before. i guess i have been lucky. the citi lady said just hang up and unplug your computer. i did not want to do it as he had said i had child porn on my computer. please help me.
