I had been trying to get a personal loan and got an email saying I was approved from the scammer. Everything seemed like the normal order of things till it came to the scammer wanting to "deposit" money into my bank account and have me send it back via Cash app or gift card. I told them no. Then the scammer called and said they had frosted the money into my account. I looked and they had put a while bunch of payment credits into my account that looked like they were from my utility providers and over draft fee credits. I called my bank and they said it looked like credits from filling a dispute. Except I hadn't filed a dispute at all ever. The banker informed me that it looks like a cash deposit on my end but in reality they were just credits that would removed because it was an "error". Then my bank would have been over drawn. And the scammers would be $1000+ dollars richer.
