I had been doing internet searches for loans with poor credit. I received an email from this company that said i had been approved for a loan and it was a reasonable rate. I called them and they said they needed to verify my account was current and would call me back. When they did he said they have pretty much been burned in the past and the process they do is for both of our protection. They would deposit part of the loan into my account and i would have to withdraw it and send it back to them to verify that i am the one that had received the money. Once they received the money back from me they would then deposit the full loan amount into my checking account the same day. I told him i wasnt comfortable with that and it didnt sound right. He said i was welcome to do some research and call them back. The BBB could verify the company name but not in the location or the number i was given.
