This company contacted me via email and said that they found me on a head hunting site. They said that they had a job opportunity as a real estate assistant, and asked if I was interested. I asked questions, like what the position was and questions about their company. They responded, sent me an application and an employee agreement and a job description. I did not sign anything, and asked if I could speak to someone about the job. I called the number provided, it rang, then a busy tone. This happened each time I called. I emailed them asking someone to call me with more info, and they said they would call the next day. Someone called me today, asking when would be a good time to set up an interview. I said that I had a few questions and needed clarification. He said his manager would call me the next day (tomorrow) with more info.

I looked up the business on sunbiz, and nothing. However, I have worked for companies before that went under a different name, so I did some more digging.

I called the property owners for 801 Brickell, and they said that there was a Paxtonlane that was there but they had moved out in 2017. So why would a company that made their site last month have an address that they haven't been at since 2017? Also, in the email they sent me, they said that they have offices across the US and Canada. So, why would a company who purchased their site less than a month ago have this sweeping success so soon? Duh.

Their site looks somewhat legit, but for a real estate company I think it's odd to not have any listings. I inspected the page, and they've had this domain for less than a month. There are two properties in the carousel on the homepage, but nowhere to click on the property for more info. When I looked up the address for the property, they are actually properties in LA, not Miami. THEN when I reverse image searched one of the photos for the property, IT WAS A PROPERTY ON HOUSE HUNTERS. Could not stop laughing.

Anyways, they are supposed to call me tomorrow. Tempted to play along and get more info to report them. Don't know if I should report them to whoever sold them the domain, but I doubt they could do anything about it.
