Paxec Logistics and transport is a scam

While browsing the internet for motorhome seller said they had gotten a motorhome in divorce settlement and wanted to sell it expeditiously, and had contracted Paxec Logistics to handle sell through escrow and transport it to buyer unfortunately the seller didn't exist and company doesn't have a business license nor is it a legitimate escrow company. Website was set up in Sweden and bank account is connected to another company.

Was interested in buying farm equipment in my area of Alabama (to be able to see in person) and contacted numerous sellers requesting more info on their ads. Two separate sellers contacted me and BOTH had stories about needing to sell the items but they were in Provo Utah (red flag!) But they wanted to use a "trusted third party" for escrow and shipping - Paxec Logistics in Provo Utah. After digging a bit it appeared that this is a scam as they had no business license nor an escrow license in Utah. I was sent a contract via Docu-sign for the transaction but I requested further verification that the items existed (purchase receipt, title, etc.) and subsequently there was no further interaction and the ads disappeared from Craigslist - at least in my area. There seems to be too much trust in "third party" agents - and scammers know this so they set up seemingly legit web sites (Paxec Logistics is still up & running) and use contracts, etc. to further their goals of separating you from your money. If someone wants to use an escrow agent ALWAYS make sure they are legit and are licensed.
