I bought a kitten from a seller and they gave the kitten to PAWS and they are trying to make me buy an electronic thermal crate in order to fly my kitten but when I said no to the crate and said I can pick him up they and the seller didn’t respond

I was looking to purchase a schnauzer puppy for my children. I can across a website that seemed credible and began to interchange emails with the breeders including pricing, pictures of the dog, & a money back guarantee. I expressed interest in one of the puppies and send the company 750USD for the puppy to be reserved and shipped to me from North Carolina to Miami, FL. I received a notification that the puppy would be arriving today, 07/19/2021, but they were asking for an additional 1500USD for life insurance for the puppy. I did not respond as I felt uncomfortable with this request. I got a call from them as I had not responded and when I looked up the number there were multiple reports that this was a “dog scammer” online. I have not been able to recover the funds and the company has rejected my request for my money back despite the money back guarantee. I have email addresses, phone numbers, a physical address, website, & names associated with the business. I have also filed a police report.
