This Paula Herndon just got me! I feel like a FOOL! Same story as everyone else. Chevy Silverado 1500, 70 yr old father in bike accident. Truck bring bad memories!Smh! There’s a niece name Leah that supposedly put the post up for Paula on Facebook market place.

I'm a bit scared after reading these messages, I contacted her regarding a trailer she was selling and heard the same story as the rest of you, she insisted on my full address in order to give me more information, and stupidly I gave it to her now i'm panicking, how is she able to continue doing this? Just emailed her to let her know i'm not interested but now she has my address, this is crazy.

Buyer beware…Tried to sell Toyota Avalon for 1200.

Same story as reported above. Dad’s car… he had died in a bike accident. “Too painful” seeing it. Said the sale would be invoiced by ebay motors. Wanted payment in eBay gift cards. Car not posted on ebay. It was on Car Gurus. Refused to let me see the vehicle even though it was less than 5 miles reportedly from where I work. Figured out it was a scam and stopped communication.

tried to get me today also. sad story about her dying in a motorcycle accident.
Perfect condition boat only $1200 including delivery. I coaught her in the lie and told her to give me her address I would come pick it up. she said Ebay would invoice me. I told her Ebay didn't work that way. Never heard from her again

(s)he/they got us just today! Took us for $2200 for the pontoon boat. Same sad story. Son dies, it was his boat and it's too painful so just getting rid of it. $1200 for the boat and then another "refundable" $1000 for shipping insurance. Payment with eBay gift cards, should have known!

She offered a car, saying her son, age 26 years, 3 months, had died and the 2008 Acura with 108,000 miles was available for $1200... in gift cards.

Said that the sale would be handled by eBay motors. Nope. invoice asked for payment in eBay gift cards.

Also did a search of Pittsburgh newspapers looking for a Herndon killed in a bicycle accident, or a Herndon o bituary.

received an invoice from: [email protected] "eBay Buyer Protection - Order ID xxxxxxxxxx"

invoice states that purchase was to be paid with ebay gift cards and stated that satisfaction money back guarantee etc...

OBVIOUS to me that this was a scam and it was easy to confirm that it was fraudulent...

Was looking at 2 different items one listed by Paula and one listed by Sandra and received the same sad story about her father being killed in a bike accident and then only wanting to use ebay motors
