I responded to a puppy for sale online. The posting showed to be in Plano, TX. I received an email from Paul Mckinset and then a text from 385-263-4035, a UT number. We discussed that I wanted a puppy, I informed him specifically which one I wanted from the email he sent me, and we agreed on the price. $400 + $150 for shipping as it was disclosed that he was in El Paso, TX. He asked I send the money to him via cash app and the account information didn't match his name or anything I gathered from him in my short interaction with him. I completed the transaction. The next morning, the seller texted me a tracking number and website of the shipping company. I was immediately emailed and called from the shipping company telling me that I needed to pay an additional $1250-$1500 for a special crate and vaccine for the puppy. The number I was called from was a LA, California number. They assured me the money would be 100% refundable after delivery but it need to be sent via cash app or Zelle, or bitcoin. I paid $500. Afterwards there was heated discussion between me, shipper, and seller about validity and I asked for a refund and said I wouldn't pay a dime more. The seller called me the next morning to assure me that the puppy would be delivered that night. Later that afternoon I received a text from the shipper asking for me to complete money transfer to complete shipping. I informed shipper that I would not be paying and to get in touch with seller. The seller later called and texted wanting to know why the puppy hadn't been delivered. I informed seller that I again I would not pay anything more as it was not what we agreed upon and it was on him to get he dog to me without further delay or refund my money. The next day comes and I ask the shipper what the status is. Seller tells me I still need to pay shipper. I press him about a refund and he tells me that it is out of his hand and he shipped. I haven't received a refund from either seller or shipper and have not received puppy either
