Same thing with same exact pattern happened to me on craigslist but with a listing in Philadelphia.

I was looking for a place to sublease for on craigslist. I found a spot that looked really good (A unit in Liberty Lofts in Ann Arbor, MI) and contacted the the person by replying to the craigslist ad through email. The person emailed me back at [email protected]. After initial communication through email, the person stated that he was ****** of Denni, Law and that he was currently out of town and could not show the place. I have included this as an example of his scam. In addition, he asked how I could afford to pay for the rent. Stupidly, I sent a copy of my pay stub. This contained the visible last 4 digits of my SSN. I also stated my approximate age and my full name. He responded and gave his cell phone number ((949) 799-0719). He wanted 800 for initial payment and 800 for security deposit, He did not give out the unit number for the apartment which I thought was very weird. So, I looked **** **** up online and spoke with the real *** **** of Denni Law and he told me that his identity was stolen and that he was receiving calls all day about it. He stated that his identity had been stolen.
