I was looking for a condo in downtown and I saw his add on craiglist, a very nice and small condo listed on 900 CAD, when i contacted him, he seemed quite normal but acted worried about "trusting" his place to others, then we start contacting by his "personal" mail and phone, he told me he moved to Quebec but a copy of the keys were still on the mailbox of the building, so we agreed that after signing the contract (it seemed legit) he was going to tell me the access code to get the keys, then he start giving escuses that his lawyer wouldnot allow him to give me the keys untill we secure the damage deposit, before that i made a quick visit to the building and noticed that the windows on the photo match with the ones on the building so i thought it was trustfull, so i make the deposit to his lawyer bank account as requested, then he gave more excuses about his lawyer and that in the contract it stablishes the first payment of the month had to be done for me receiving the keys, it was one week before my moving date, sept 1, so i was in a desperate situation and no more options of housing so i gave them part of the money and this guy stop all comunications with me, he didnt answer phone and mails after that.
