The company registered name is formed with the intent to cause confusion in order to scam people into using their service. They do have a disclosure in the fine print that does state they are a private company and are not associated with a government organization. However, just because they do have a disclosure in the end of their fine print shouldn’t justify them to create a name for the purpose to cause confusion. Additionally, they did put in bold print the scare tactic of informing people if they don’t renew in time your exclusive rights to the trademark may be terminated. This statement is not entirely correct, but obviously used to scare people into using their service. I called the number and it went to an answering service that is in a foreign accent, which I guess is fine, but bizarre. I’m not going to go through the process to see if they try and take my money, but this business should cease operations under the company name for sure. It’s interesting that a main criteria in order to get a Federal Trademark from the USPTO is that the mark does not cause confusion, but yet this company can be allowed to operate by intentionally causing confusion with is name.
