We hired Melissa Bacoka at Pastel-ID for interior design services. We paid her a retainer as well as pre-purchasing furniture items which we never received. We worked together for a couple of months putting together a proposal to which we agreed to. We made a deposit of $22,000.00 for the ordering of furniture after which we did not hear from Ms. Bacoka. We reached out in October for status of our order. She responded that she had been out of town. We requested an update on our order and we did not hear from her again. We called, emailed, texted, looked for her on social media and in the obituaries. She finally made an appearance on Instagram. She posted a picture of a cocktail she enjoyed at Musso and Franks Grill. We reached out and she proceeded to block us from her Instagram. But still - no other word from her.
