I contacted Expedited Passports and Visas because my passport had expired in 2013, and I needed an expedited passport renewal. They had me upload my old passport information, a passport photo (which my husband took), and payment for their services of $329.90. After they received payment, they told me they needed me to FedEx or UPS overnight my expired Passport, my passport picture, a check for the State Department in the amount of $211.36, and these signed letters they had sent me that gave them authorization to work on my behalf, and the application for renewal of a passport. They sent me an email telling me Patty Henriquez was my account manager. I asked Patty if the passport photo my husband had taken and we had uploaded would suffice for the renewed passport. She messaged back saying it might, if it met the State Dept's standards for passports. I told her that I would just go ahead and get a passport photo taken and mail it with the application for renewal, the check to the State Dept, and letters of authorization. Patty confirmed that she received them the next day. A day or two later, I received a message that my passport couldn't be processed and I would have to apply for a new passport. I asked Patty why, and she said that my passport had been expired for too long. They could have told me this before they had me mail everything in to them, when they had me upload this information into their system. I told her I wanted my documents FedExed to me overnight since I had to do the same for them, and I was needing my passport expedited. I also told her that I wanted a refund because she told me that I would have to contact the United States Postal Service's website myself to set up a time for a passport appointment. They would not be doing any type of service for me, so they needed to return my money to me. Patty tried to give me the excuse that I had not uploaded my documents to their system, but she knew this was not true because she had seen the uploaded photo that my husband had taken of me for a passport photo, and we had discussed it. She had said she would send back my documents, but she would not give me a refund, so she would be sending me a tracking number, which I never received. This was just an excuse to keep my money. I sent her proof of the email between us and told her that I wanted my money refunded to me along with my documents. She said she was referring me to management, which was actually the Managing Director and Founder of the Company, Philip Diack. His email is [email protected]. I emailed him proof as well that I had the conversation with Patty about the photo, so she knew that I had uploaded my documents online before they were mailed to her. I told him that I wanted a full refund and all of the letters that I signed returned to me, as well as I wanted my expired passport returned to me. I revoked the right for them to work on my behalf. I have not received my expired passport or a refund back to me. Since then, we have found an unauthorized charge on our bank account that we cannot account for. These people are crooks. I have found reports of them doing this to others as well. Please, stop these criminals from harming any other people. Thank you.

They promise a service they cannot fulfill. My emails and phone calls were ignored. I was promised a refund and then completely ignored after spending over 300 on expedited fees for my passport. It is a COMPLETE scam.
