I recently went looking for legit online breeder to purchase a Cane Corso puppy. I found a website that looked pretty legit and credible but it turned out to be the opposite. The breeder responded to my message stating that I was interested in one of their puppies. The website gave a run down on everything about the breed and they personally filled me in on the process of purchasing the puppy. I received a quote for the puppy and I told them that I would try to purchase the puppy the following week on a Monday ( November 30). The breeder said that I should just let him/her know when I am ready to make my purchase and he/she would send flight details so that I would be able to locate the dog during the shipping process. I reached out to the breeder early seeking to purchase the puppy (on November 28). They told me that they could send it out that same day (still on the 28th) but it was the weekend so that preferred to wait until Monday. He or she also stated that it would arrive the same day that I sent the payment. The breeder did not send any flight information, receipt, I never got their name or location and they did not send a picture when one was asked to confirm their ever being a puppy. The. payment for the dog was sent on cash app and when I noticed that it was a scam it was too late to get my money back. So to test my theory I texted the breeder from another number asking if the puppy was still available after I had already purchased the puppy and they said that it was still available. The breeder has yet to respond to any calls or texts about their credibility or about me getting a refund. My boyfriend contacted them from his phone as well but instead of answering the phone they responded with a text and has yet to respond to his attempt of reaching out.
