I received an email after I had been submitting a bunch of applications online through job board sites. I was redirected from the email to a Google document that was requesting more information about myself. I was under the impression that the position was legit so I didn't question it.

A few days later I received an email and a text message from someone who said that they were "Michael Wilson Mint" and that I had been hired. He said that my first weeks pay, ($400 for 2 days, 10-12 hours) and my first assignment would arrive via USPS on Friday and that he would be in touch then. After thinking about the situation I felt like something was off so I began to do some research which led me here.
