After losing my dog of 14 years, my husband and I were ready to look for a new dog. We searched all over until we came across the website listed above. The man who goes by “Charlie” ha a very legitimate looking website complete with testimonials from all over the United States. On top of all of this he appeared to have a lot of knowledge about the breed of dog. After speaking with him, we decided to go ahead and purchase the dog. Since the breeder stated he was in Alabama and we were in Washington we had to have the dog shipped to us. He said he went through a specific transporter and they would be in contact with me going forward. The shipping company contacted me and said that the dog was in route to the airport and we would get updated emails along the way, which we did. Then later that day we were contacted by the transporter asking for more money and them emails asking for even more money. This turned into them asking for almost $4,000 dollars. They then stated that the dog was not up to date on shots and that would cost me another $1,000. By now I have realized that this is a scam and contacted my bank who already caught it as a fraud. I was able to stop the payments made to the transporters, however am now out of the money I had paid for the dog itself.
