Parcerly.com Reports & Reviews (2)

Saddens me to say this, but i am also a victim of the Parcerly.com Scam.

I was contacted by Daniel and had an hour long phone interview going over normal aspects and requirements of a remote merchandise hub. Since I had worked this same position for a REAL and LEGIT company in the past, I knew what the job entailed.

Daniels explanation of the position and the duties were right on cue with my other remote hub position, so no red flags at this point. After the phone interview with Daniel, I was contacted via email by my manager-to-be- Joel Darrow. The email was confirming my availability for a phone interview with him (name of JOEL- i assumed was a man) the following day. On schedule, i get the call from Joel and to my total surprise JOEL was a WOMAN, a woman with a thick english accent at that. We had the interview about 30mins. Joel informed me that i would be getting the employee packet and also the employee/employer contract that would detail every aspect of the job and answer any questions i may have. 2 days later, there was the email.

The contract was a 44 page document- YESS 44 PAGES FRONT AND BACK and it detailed every single teeny tiny thing that an employee could ever even dream of wanting to ask about. I had to take a picture of myself holding my ID and SS Card next to my face and submit the picture with the signed contract that i would return. Everything from probationary period to raise increments and when to expect them, to vacation time, grievances, i could go on and on with the sections of this ... contract i was to sign. I read every word on it including the finest fine print. I saw nothing alarming. I did see something i thought was a bit funny tho,,, the contract was signed by the CEO of Parcerly and his name was "George Hancock" you know how people say their signature is their 'Jon Hancock"? . i jokingly thought,, hmm must be Jon's brother... and I didn't give it another thought. and continued on my way.

I then went to the website, nice clean design with all the info matching the contract as far as location, payroll manager (kaitlyn Werner), HR guy (daniel) top account manager, u guess it (Joel Darrow). there were reviews from companies that have used parcerly's services and were pleased.. i even contacted one of the reviewers and they confirmed that they had used this service for the last 5 yrs and couldn't be more happy with them. ,

I googled the address on google maps and placed my little blue guy on the map to walk around, went straight to the address given in Murrieta CA, nice storefront of glass showing the name PARCERLY, SHIPPING & LOGISTICS SERVICES , there were hours of operations and the office phone number (matched the # listed in the contract) on the door, cars in the parking lot , other businesses nearby etc. EVERYTHING checked out to be legit. I did my homework and was confident this was a real job and not a scam.

The only money it cost me was 2 rolls of clear packing tape. and conveniently i lived 1/2 mile away from UPS AND FEDex at the time so hardly any gas was used shipping the packages after i received, verified, documented, repackaged, relabeled and delivered to the respective shipper.
After the first package i done, Joel darrow called to see how it went yadda yadda and asked if i liked it... blah blah. ya know just some small talk, but then there was one thing during this call that made my eyebrow raise up and it was what joel said numerous times during a 20 minute call. She said, sternly:
""Be sure u destroy all original packing lists and any promos or coupons or product registration cards, warranty cards, etc u MUST DESTROY THEM, don't jsut throw them int the trash as they contain personal info of our customers and must be shredded, Do not put those things into the new shipping box and DO NOT retain them, you must destroy any documentation you recieve in any package. And if you happen to receive any mail for the recipients of the packages- DO NOT FORWARD YOU MUST SHRED ANY AND ALL CORRESPONDENCE THAT Y0U RECEIVE VIA US POSTAL SERVICES, do you understand? there will be great penalty if you do not comply with this company law. MY office gets the same documents for the recipients and WE forward them accordingly""" So, i agreed but still couldn't get my eyebrow to go down. lol.

so after the call ended i had already decided that it's a mighty good thing I have a condition known as SELECTIVE HEARING, because i kept every shred of any thing that came with the packages, I gently removed the label that had my address on it and stuck in on the original packing list, recorded the items, logged the date i received , the date i shipped it, where it came from an where it went after it left me, i copied the new packing list before sealing the box, put it with the original packing slips and attached the receipt for shipping . every new packing list that parcerly sent me via their web app, had a fat file for that shipment safe in my file cabinet. i did this for every shipment and some days i had 3-5 deliveries and i was on first name basis with the UPS guy and the Fedex guy even brought me a newspaper every day and gotta coffee to go from me with his delivery to my house..

I continued this for 28 straight days. however on the 28th day is when the WPD detective contacted me via phone asking about a package that came to my address and he listed the items inside, and i confirmed it, told him all about it and i offered to drop off the file i had on that shipment to him at the police station. He happily agreed, so instead of bringing him THE file, i brought him ALL the files for all the shipments and i brought the 44 pg employee contract and i spilled everything i knew. i did that cause i didnt wanna go down as an accomplice to these fools. the Detective thanked me for my candid voluntary surrender of the files i had kept so organized with dates, times, pictures, voice recordings of the conversation when joel told me to destroy all paperwork etc. And the detective informed me that i was free and clear in this matter and not to worry about any future issues. and he told me if i get another package for Parcerly, i should bring it to the station. I agreed, thanked him and went back home. My daddy taught me a lot of things in the 18yrs of my life that he was alive, and one of those many things was to KNOW WHEN AND HOW TO COVER YOUR A$$.. and this was the time to do just that. now, its time for the paycheck to come, Kaitlyn Werner , parcerly's Payroll manager calls to inform me that they had cut the check and it was put in the mail that morning and for me to watch for it as i should get it in 7-10 days, and if i didnt recive it by the 10th business day, then i should call her and they would cancel that check and issue another. so, 10 days later , i call her and tell her it hasnt arrived.. she says no problem i will cancel that one and issue another one, but just know tht should u get the first check after today, it wont be good as i'm canceling it now. i agreed.. but this time i asked her if i could get the tracking number from when the 2nd check was mailed , she hurry up and said we don't get tracking numbers, we just drop it in the regular every day mail. and she quickly ended that call. so again 10days after that, i call her again to tell her i haven't gotten the 2nd check either, well wouldn't you know the number is no longer a working number, so i go to the website, theres no such site with that name, i go to google maps and the office building is no longer their at the address, it is now a bunch of trees in a park in Murrieta CA..
im telling you it is a scammers job to look LEGIT in every way and these 3 scammers had it down pat, i mean.. they crossed every 'T' and dotted every 'i' and missed nothiing.

I was sent an email from this company, "Parcerly.com", claiming to be a third party shipping company with a position opening for a "Merchandise Hub Operator". They said that their parent company was ISTS, located in California. I looked this company up on the ScamPulse.com and it checked out ok. So I went ahead with the application. The compensation was to be $2200 for the 30-day probation period then $2500/month if I was hired as a permanent employee. I had a phone interview with Daniel Wilson and I was hired. My supervisor was Joel Darrow. My job was to accept packages, open them, check for damages and make sure everything that was on the packing slip was there. after that, take pics of the items, print a new shipping label and packing list from their Web program, https://orders-crm.net.. I began getting suspicious when I noticed that most of the packages started coming from different names but with my address. Then I noticed that all the packages were being delivered to the same address, which after I researched, found that the address and phone number belonged to another company. I knew I had been scammed, but too late. I had signed a contract, gave them my driver's license, and social security number for a background check. Of course I never got paid, just got the run-around.
