I sent a $1000 iPhone through this service. I bought the $8.57 insurance which they call "Protection Cover" to protect the phone up to $400 if lost or damaged. The phone was lost for months before Parcel Monkey even let me file a claim. Once I filed a claim they let me fight for several days with them over their chat before they told me that phones are on their restricted items list and is not covered. Their resolution is to return the $8.57 I had paid for the insurance and call it good. So Parcel Monkey is a scam.
