Papillons Haven Reports & Reviews (3)

Same experience as the two other reports except I didn't loose out on any money. I got suspicious the day I was going to pick up the puppy. My son is a pilot and he can fly me into Nashville. The puppies where in Ashville, NC I was told. I had trouble following the directions on the Bitcoin website. I knew nothing about these sights so I was very uncomfortable to give them my credit card information. I didn't complete the transaction and told them that I will only pay with money order or western union. They gave me the western union information. This is were they went wrong. The information supplied was for a different person and that person lived in Baltimore, Maryland. I thought that was strange but I thought it was a business between the two locations. I still was going to purchase the puppy. I went to PetSmart and purchased $180 worth of supplies. I called my daughter as she has a Papillon and was asking her about dog food. She asked me how I was going to pick up the dog which I was told that whatever was convenient for me (which made meh suspicions) since it was a flight involved. My daughter asked me about the western union information provided to me. When she heard that the dog was in Ashville but money was going to Maryland she immediately told me it was a scam and to stop all communication, which I did. She was able to find the scam information which resulted in me cancelling the purchase. I was headed to western union within 10 min. of PetSmart to purchase this puppy which I would have been out $700. I feel bad for everyone who this has happened to. It's not the money it's the deceit.

I was trying to buy a puppy from Papillonshaven.com and they originally asked for $500 for the dog + $200 for shipping and asked that the money be sent through Zelle. They were going to be shipping the puppy through an airlines with the best flight with a dog nanny. I sent them $400 on Saturday the 13th and the remaining balance of $300 on the Sunday the 14th through Zelle. I talked to them on the phone and they said they were good god fearing people and this was not a scam. They even e-mailed me throughout the week telling me that the puppy would arrive with a Puppy Care Packet and all the information I would need on the puppy's routine and what kind of food and vitamins I should get. By Wednesday I was not receiving any flight information so I call them and they reassured me the the information would be provided soon. By Wednesday evening I still had not received any information. I became suspicious and looked on line only to find that this site was listed as a scam. I had not seen this alert before or somehow I had overlooked it unfortunately. I called the owners and they did not answer. I left a long message and still no response. I did some more research into it and found that the website they are using (www.papillonshaven.com) has a domain name that has only been active for about 20 + days. When you are on their website the buttons that correspond to Instagram, Facebook, etc do not link to ANYTHING. I have gone to the bank and they are reporting the scam to their fraud department.. This is absolutely disgusting that people would prey on animal lovers like this. Sick, sick people and con artists like this need to be stopped.

We paid $700 cash via Zelle ($500 for dog and $200 shipping) to Papillons Haven https://papillonshaven.com/ for a Papillon puppy and then was sent to Expresspetflyers.com for shipping. I received flight info and then they wanted another $1500 for shipping. We did NOT pay the $1500 after further searching online for info. However the same phone number was given for Papillons Haven as well as Expresspetflyers.com. We have requested the $700 refund to no avail. We believe the 2 sites are connected and have kept all emails and correspondence. We hope BOTH websites can be taken down for FRAUD.The $700 was a loss but the heartbreak of not receiving the dog was almost worst as we had just lost our 14 yr old dog. The phone numbers associated with this scam are 252-671-6243 and 919-410-8963. I have continually tried to call and they are no longer answer the phone or have blocked my phone number. If you want any further information we can provide please let me know. Or if there is anything further we can do to prevent someone else from the fraud and heartache please let me know.

We have over 35 emails and screenshots we can send to you.
