Dec 15. Am looking over my SquareSpace account--on Sq. SP site, all legit. Some ad comes up from Papergy saying they handle Microsoft Office renewals. I do have M. Office. I ignore it. Couple days later my bank texts me asking if i really made purchases from three companies. Two i know are legit. Other is Papergy. Since the name looks vaguely familiar i text yes for all three. Couple days later I think, "Wait, why is Microsoft using some company w/ a cheesy name like that to handle their biz??? I go online, many people report fraud. Charge was for $39.99. I call my bank today to dispute claim...and must cancel that entire card! Still, glad I did as my bank says "Oh, this shows as a *recurring* charge". Jeeez. *Please prosecute them to full extent of law, I am glad to testify* They seem to be based in SoCal.
