I purchased the painting May 1 and they never sent the painting and also never responded to multiple emails asking for an update and refund.

I ordered a paint by numbers kit from this company. After a month and half and no delivery I contacted the company 3 times and had no response. I am asking for a refund through pay pal and hope it will happen. Please beware of this company.

I saw an advertisement for this company on Instagram and was excited about their paint-by-numbers products. I placed an order through this company's website on 04/18/2020. After 12 days without any shipping updates or confirmation, I reached out to the company via email to express my concerns. The company representative, Cai Leon, stated that they were delayed due to COVID-19 and offered me a full refund if I wanted to cancel my order. I immediately shared that I would like to cancel my order in order to receive the refund. On 05/05/2020, the representative then responded saying that the package was "waiting in line for customs and will be delivered within 7 days" and asked if I could "wait a little longer." Again, I confirmed that I wanted to cancel my order and receive a full refund. Ms. Leon emailed me two more times stating that my order would delivered soon and asking if I wanted to wait longer. Each time I told her that I did not want to wait and wanted to cancel the order. Most recently, she shared that my order had shipped and that I would receive a 30% discount AFTER receiving my painting. According to the tracking number provided by this company, the order has not shipped, nor is there a parcel in the system. Despite me requesting multiple times to cancel this order over the course of 2 weeks, this company did not comply and I have yet to receive the package.

While they do not list their address or phone number, only an email address, I believe they are in China as my paypal transaction appeared to be from there. It is in Chinese. I saw an instagram or facebook ad for a "paint by numbers" company offering a sale. Since I'm alone and bored during covi-19 quarantine, I thought this would be a great activity to start while I sit at home by myself every day in social isolation.

-I ordered 2 paintings on 4/21/20, and was very excited to start this new hobby. I got an email with confirmation of order, and my paypal account was charged for the items. After 2 weeks I thought it was odd I hadn't heard anything more, since the website states orders are processed in 1-4 days, or else they would contact you if longer, and they would contact you when it was shipped. When I went to follow up on this, it said my items had not even been shipped yet. I became suspicious, so found them on facebook

-On their facebook page, all anyone had posted about was not receiving their orders, that this company was a scam, and the company would not return their emails or facebook messages (and no phone number is listed for them), with the except of a very small amount of people who got a response after several emails/messages were sent... Some people claimed they were able to get a refund by filing a complaint through paypal. There are also claims on there that the images they advertise are stolen from artists who did not agree to have their paintings affiliated with this website.

-I wanted to follow the proper channels of communication, so I first emailed the company. I requested my order be canceled and refunded, as they had not even shipped my product yet despite advertising a 1-4 day process time or contacting the customer with delays. I was not surprised when I did not receive a reply, so then I went and sent a facebook message with same request, noting I never received a reply. Facebook has "read receipts", and it showed the Paintooo facebook account read my message right away. After 10 minutes of not replying, I asked if they could send me some kind of response, as I knew they read my message due to the facebook messenger "read receipt." While it showed this 2nd message was read by them, I still did not get any response. I then filed a dispute through paypal.

-I'm really embarrassed to have fallen for this scam, but hopefully the ScamPulse.com can help prevent them from scamming other people in the future.

NOTE: there is a 2nd almost identical company (likely the same people, as they advertise the exact same paintings), who spell "Paintooo" (1 "t" instead of 2)... it has a facebook page, website, and almost identical email of "[email protected]". The logos are different, and the websites are slightly different (one has categories across the top, other has the same categories but going down the left side of page), but the paintings they are selling are the exact same.
