I got a check in the mail with my name on it in the amount of...$2,600. Instructions tell me to go to local apple store and buy 2 $1,300 gift cards and then review my experience. Also to send them a picture of a cashiers check. They have been sending communications through text.

Recieved an email through my school network that would seem to be legit. Was said to be a recommendation through the school services and indeed. The link brought me to their website where I continued to sign up. When I googled the company nothing would show up. I haven't recieved a check yet or anything but I know now they're a total scam.

Received email to my student email, which is why I thought email was legit. I was looking for a flexible job since I am a student. I didn’t question it at all and I signed up for it. I thought I’d check it out and if I saw any red flags I would not continue. I received and email to my personal email that I had provided and said I had been hired. Within a week I received a check for $2450. I was to deposit this check and purchase 4 Best Buy gift cards for $500 and send images to a number once the work was done. $400 would be my compensation. I saw a lot of red flags at this point and decided to not continue with it.
