On approximately June 7, 2021, I applied for a position with Chef Logistics LLC. The position was for Quality Control Manager. The job called for me to receive packages at my home address. The name on the package could be either the “customer,” my name, or one of my supervisor’s names. Once I received the package, I would open it, check to make sure it wasn’t damaged in any way, and take a photo of the products. I was never to open the manufacturers packaging, just the shipping material (box, envelope, etc.). After this I removed all the labels and tape neatly from the package and replaced it with new tape and label. I would then login to https://pc-dash.com/user/login.php. Once in I was in, I had to upload the picture of the products in the package and the packing list if one was included. The next step was to request a shipping label. Once the customer paid for the shipping, I would receive and attach the new label to the package and take it to the shipper (FedEx, UPS, USPS) and request a receipt. I never paid money out of pocket for anything. My pay was supposed to be $2,500 a month, plus $50 per package.

My payday was scheduled for July 14th. I asked if I would receive the check that day or is that the day it was mailed. They said it would be mailed the 14th. It was the 15th of July that my login was no longer accepted. This was when I realized I was scammed. I called HR and someone answered. She answered the phone Shoplite Logistics. This is the company name they used for the next group. What they did was, with a stolen credit card, they would purchase items and have them shipped to me and others who fell for the same scam. I would process the package and ship it back out. I was duped.

They really did everything you would expect a reputable company would do. They notified me when I had a new task (package) assigned including tracking numbers, when the package was delivered, and when labels were sent via e-mail.
