I was adopting 2 teacup Maltese puppies from a scammer by the name of Tynesha Kemp, who emails people as Lucy Ruchel. Upon the shipping of these puppies, I received a phone call , April 27th at 142pm CAT, from the company about an email I was going to receive. When I received the email, it was grammatically incorrect with several different fonts and font colors, which is very suspicious. I reached out to them to explain to me why I needed to rent a crate for $825 for the puppies. He explained to me, in an African accent, that it was because of the COVID-19 and weather difference from Minnesota and Texas. Against my better judgement, I believed him and paid $600. When I called to speak to them about getting a refund of the money because I was not picking up the puppies, they didn’t answer and have yet to return my phone calls.
