I found a yorkie breeder online. I messaged him back and forth and FB then had phone conversations with him. I wanted to pick the puppy up myself to be sure I wasn’t being scammed. He said ok and immediately gave me an address. I looked it up and it was legit. I googled him and found nothing and asked on the FB group I had found him on. He said the courier would only be an additional $150 and I thought it would save me a 14hr trip so ok. We agreed I would only pay for half the puppy once all the courier info was sent and confirmed. I received all the info. I was unable to send money through PayPal and even called PayPal. They said our banks were not compatible?!? I’ve never heard that before so idk. So I bought American Express gift card for half the cost of the puppy since I thought maybe my internet wouldn’t allow payment to go through. I was able to track my puppy in transit all day with Pacific Fastway and it gave me updates. About 4 hrs into the 7 hr trip I get a call that at their courier checkpoint they were told by officials that she was not in an acceptable kennel and I would need to rent one for $300 ( 100% refundable at delivery if I do not choose to keep) and she will need a vaccine as well for $100 to continue... WTH I should have known better but I was sent a pic of the puppy in the kennel and pics of the kennel she was in and the one she was supposed to be in, also a pic of a vaccine... I am Leary but worried there is actually a puppy trying to get to me. I again bought the $400 American Express gift cards. At delivery I get an URGENT email from Pacific Fastway that I need to pay $800 for insurance for my puppy... when I hit the roof and went off on them the next email offered me the insurance for $400! I am embarrassed I let them scam me. This is a fraudulent company, very realistic website and these deceptive business practices need to be [censored] down! How can they get away with this?!?! Awful people! And to add insult to injury the vaccine is for birds! Never dogs!?‍♀️

I was on the website rescueme.com looking for a Boston Terrier to adopt. I thought I had found one and emailed the contact person. This began a series of emails that began to become more suspicious. The person trying to adopt out their puppy went by the name of Lois McEwan, but somehow had broken English and poor writing. One email reply from "her" supposedly including information about the puppy referred to litter and hay and went back and forth by describing the puppy by "he" and "her". Trying to convince me that the adoption was legitimate "Lois" told me that she was using a pet courier and gave me the website https://pacificfastway.com/ I can't find any information that this is a legitimate company.
