We were given a free dog from Ohio. The only thing we had to do is pay the transport fee from Ohio to North Carolina. We paid the $290 transport fee through Zelle. The person that gave us the dog set up the transport company. We thought everything was Ok and we would receive our dog on 7/31/21. We got a call from the transport company on the morning of 7/31/21 saying they needed more money for the transport in the amount of $550.00. Insurance and parvovirus shot. We sent the $100 through Zelle to Reuben Agyeman @ email address [email protected]. This is the person we have been communicating with at the transport company. We sent the $450 to a different person through Apple Pay to a different #615-627-7003 To Vanessa Camp. The transaction would not process and this Reuben guy called us and told us the transaction would not go thru. We called Apple Pay and they said it was something on their end that was keeping it from processing. We called the telephone # Reuben told us to send the $450 to. A man named Ronald Hollis answered the phone. It was not the person he told us the money would be going to. The man Ronald did not know anything about this transaction and rejected this transaction and we cancelled it on our end so we got the $450 back. The other money $390 I will have to dispute with my bank and hope I get it Back. This company and person that supposedly gave the dog is a scammer also.
