Started receiving phone calls about 3 weeks ago from a company stating they are debt collectors looking for my sister. I didn't answer any of the calls because my sister and I were not speaking. Today I decided to answer and give them her info. I didn't get the first representatives name and she gave me 2 different names of the company and then she proceeded to tell me my ss# and said im responsible. I stated that I have not co signed nor have I taken out any loans for anyone other than myself. I contacted my sister and she stated she didn't have a loan and it sounds like a scam. We called back on conference call and was hung up on twice and placed on hold when we were supposed to be tranfered to Rebecca Lewis @ ext 233. No one ever came to the line and now everytime I call back they hang up right away. Im worried because she knew my ss# but is associating it to my sister. They were threatening me litigation in which I ask for more info and got disconnected. Is this a legit company??
