I placed an online order at ozarktrailshop.com for $21. At check-out, I was directed to a paypal window for an individual. Foolishly, I continued to enter my credit card information. I was charged for the purchase and received no further communcation from the 'company,' which has also not responded to further inquiry. A subsequent online search revealed many other similar reports connected with various, frequently changing Ozark Trail websites. This is a very sophisticated scam, as the website itself appears to be fully functional and legitimate.

Went on this website. Walmart sells this brand awning so I thought it was safe. The transactions completed without me even adding payment info and when I checked, it stated it had used PayPal but my PayPal was not used and the amount was different. Then I received a fraud alert from BofA and the transactions was stopped. The item I was purchasing was 54.50 not including tax and a charge for $19.97 was attempted to charge on my atm card. I did not give the site any card or payment info. And I have a two system authorization on my PayPal which never came up so I knew it was fraud.
