I attempted to purchase a tent, during the check out it switched to donation when it processed through PayPal. They removed the money from my account but the checkout screens just show pending. This is how I discovered it was a scam. The “donation” has made it difficult to get the charges reversed via PayPal. The phone number is also disconnected

I tried to purchase a tent from the aforementioned web site. No information was sent about the purchase, and no contact was directly made, except an email from donorbox.org that was empty and had no information in it. I have still on received any contact from the website in any form.

A tent was purchased in the amount of $47.40, paid through PayPal. The purchase went through as a donation. Buyer received 3 invoices and so far one charge against PayPal account. All phone numbers associated with the company are disconnected. No email response received. Because this was charged as a donation, PayPal will not cover purchase protection/refund.
