- Jackson, TN, USA • Oct 23, 2023

On March 4, 2023, I was on the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) website to buy tickets for Wicked in Nashville, Tn on October 21, 2023. After purchasing tickets I received a confirmation email from Tickets-Center.com instead of TPAC. I never knew that I had left the TPAC website. I immediately realized that I had been taken advantage of and that I had a lot of extra fees attached to my bill. I contacted Tickets-Center.com and asked if I had been scammed. They said no that they are like a third party who buys tickets and resales them. I asked for my money back and they would not refund me and guaranteed the tickets were legit. They said the tickets would be electronically delivered to me on October 16. They said that if I didn’t receive the tickets that I would be able to get my money back but again reassured me that I would get the tickets. I never received them on that date (Oct 16) and when I contacted them that evening around 7:00 pm they said the day was not over and the tickets would be there by the end of the day. The next morning (Oct 17) I received an email saying the expected ship date had been changed to Oct 20 which was the day before the show. Of course the tickets never came on that day either. . I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with them that evening around 8:30 pm and again they said the tickets would be there by the end of the day. The next morning (Oct 21 and day of the performance) the tickets were still not there. I was on the phone around 1:00 pm for about 45 minutes total. I was disconnected several times and each time I called back I would have a different “customer care specialist” talking to me and they all had foreign accents. They couldn’t explain to me why I hadn’t received the email from the seller to allow me to accept the tickets so that I could get into TPAC. They kept putting me on hold while meeting with their “specialized team” to try to figure out why I had not received an email from the seller. Again they told me the email from the seller should come before the show which was scheduled for 8:00 pm. I expressed to them that I was very unhappy with their fraudulent activity. I then called TPAC to see if they could help look for any tickets in my name and they told me that I had been scammed.
