I received the following text message: 'Hello, I'm Diana Cominghay. I'm contacting you in regards of your resume reviewed by our company (Orbit Medical Inc.) from www.indeed.com. We're excited to invite you for the position of a Remote Data Entry Analyst, working from home with a pay of $21 per hour. We would like to know it you're interested?' After responding to this person indicating I was having a hard time locating a submitted resume to their company, I asked if they could tell me what date I submitted it. The response I received: 'Thanks for your response. The interview will be done by the Company's HR Manager via Telegram Messenger App. The Interview app is free and easily attainable by downloading. You'll be provided with more details about the position and Company. Do you have the Telegram Messenger App?' Noticing the grammatical errors and the fact that they didn't answer my question, I asked: 'Will this be done completely via text or through video chat?' Their response: 'This is a texting interview process.' At that time, I said I appreciated their time, but I was not interested. The week before, I went through a similar situation - sounded exactly the same process and I had deposited a check into my bank account (for $3100), but it didn't fully clear. The person I was texting with kept pressuring me to buy the software and equipment I needed through their vendors and they needed to 'start with' submitted $1000 via Zelle. Thankfully I didn't send anything and indicated I wouldn't be buying anything until the check fully cleared. They kept pressuring me, but I stuck to my gut and it did eventually get declined. We had to call my bank to alert them of the fraudulent check because my bank account had been frozen. Once this 'Diana Cominghay' had mentioned Telegram and how this would be a text only interview - I nipped it in the bud and told her I wasn't interested. I will only be conducting interviews via phone or video chat and I am researching the heck out of everyone. BTW: I couldn't find any information that link Diana Cominghay to Orbit Medical Inc. I was able to find a Diana Cominghay - but they were employed at a different company working for a completely different position.
