Contacted by text to download “Telegram” app for an interview for Data entry clerk. Used Orbit medical as their website in which you call and it’s legit. Had you print out a check and deposit it into your account. Then they tell you to send the money to their own company to buy the equipment needed to start the position. In which in most cases people do. The check bounced and now you owe the money to the bank. Your accounts are frozen because you committed fraud by depositing a fake check and sometimes will be contacted by police. Ok my case I felt un easy about it because once I let them know that the check/funds won’t be available until 2weeks they asked me to use my own money. Red flag!! Usually employers don’t do this. So looked into it and unfortunately most people fell for this. So I deleted the app and called my bank to cancel the check. And to that, the whole conversation on telegram was deleted.
