This company pretends to be Opinion Outpost. You are hires to be mystery shopper and they contact you via text and email during the process to make sure you’ve received everything. They then email you a check for $2,6000. The check looks extremely real. You are asked to deposit it and use the funds to buy credit cards from a store (Walmart) you are given a monetary incentive to complete it as soon as possible. I did not fall for it but what im assuming happens is that you deposit the checks, you’re given credit for the check while its pending in the meantime you buy the credit cards and send them pictures of the cards (now they have access to the money on the cards). A fee days later the check bounces and you are left with the fee for depositing a bad check and the cost of the credit cards
