First contact was a text from a person stating that my resume had been reviewed on Indeed.com for a position with their company. I was instructed to email someone with their company & then invite them to google hangout to chat about the interview with this company. I contacted this person that allegedly advised me that they were a supervisor & informed me that I was being interviewed through chatting. The chat continued on about different position & job related info. I was also told that after this conversation progressed, that I was a great fit for the position. I was asked to hold online while they spoke with their superior about my interview. When returning, I was told that I scored 7.5 out of 10 for my interview process & that I was hired for the position. I was then advised they would send me a check for the work from office supplies that I would need to do the job & that I was not responsible for the purchase of the said supplies. They informed me that I would receive a check to purchase this supplies from their local vendor. Then I was advised to log back on the next morning so that I could be put in contact with my training supervisor. I did this, & after initial introduction I was asked if I understood the check information I was informed about for the supplies to be purchased. I started feeling things were not very legitimate after playing along for a while in the conversation & felt their next step was to ask me for personal info such as my bank account number etc. So, I asked a couple of questions like who was their local vendor & why did I need to continue to log in if I couldn't start training until I had the supplies. I feel they were trying to keep me online to possibly hack into any accounts I have so I became even more concerned at this point. After asking the questions, that is when things changed. I was asked the question "Should I be the one in control of how the company handled things?" When I responded back with "Excuse me?" They said they asked me that because I didn't feel that I should be doing as they asked by logging in every day at 8am. They were aware that I am currently employed as well & I reminded them of that when I asked the questions. After his response I then replied back stating that I had made Ooda healthcare aware of their fraudulent activity with me as well as my local sheriff dept was monitoring my computer for fraudulent activity. They then responded back "You must be very stupid." Before I could respond back saying no you are & have been caught, they left the conversation. Please understand... I didn't have the best feeling from the start but I wanted to see where this went. I am very aware that it could have gotten bad only if I would have allowed it. They would have never gotten any personal info like SS# or bank info from me. However, when applying through hiring websites such as Indeed, Monster etc. these people can get info from you resume & that is how they got me involved.
