I fell victim to this experience of phone scams. I'm not amused at all. I have effecfively asked all correspondence to be done by email with the housing specialists only.

She and I usually communicate by emails.
But, I found somewhat odd that she called me on phone. We did communicate about housing situation etc. Upon further research I realized that the number is not hers or belonging to DC Housing Authority.

See the email correspondence.. it is true phone number

But when the imposter called me.. it is fake number
