Received letter stating that I had won a sweepstakes and included a check in the amount of $ 8,960.65 from an TD Bank Account located in Ontario, Canada. The Home office of this corporation in Canada had an address of 1505 Dundas St E, Whitby, Ontario, Canada and according to Google Maps the only thing at that address is a car dealer. I believe that it most likely is scam and if we deposited the check that would give them my bank account information and they may then try to withdrawal funds from my account. Neither the letter or check had a website or an email address. Strange in this day and age.
