I had accidentally purchased two airline tickets for the same date (one from Delta and one from AirFrance) and needed to cancel one. Because I couldn't get through on the AirFrance line, I found a USA number online that said it could help with such reservations. On May 2, 2022, I spoke to a representative, Robin, at OneTravel Booking (860-590-8822) and was told someone would call me in a couple of hours to help me receive a refund for one of the tickets. Someone called two hours later from another number (806-370-8499--He said his name was John Marshal and said he worked for Delta). He said if I gave him $800 in Target gift cards, he could cancel the credit card and recharge the cost of the ticket to the gift card. He explained there was a special promotion with Delta's partner, Target, and this was a way he could access that promotion and offer a $200 discount on the original price. I didn't see this lie for what it was, and I gave him the gift card numbers. Needless to say, he didn't take care of cancelling the charge for the extra airline ticket, and he spent the gift card money. I have called OneTravel Booking three times asking that they uncover who among their workforce helped to set up this scam. I talked with someone named Robin, someone named Patrick, and someone named Hendrick. Despite their having said they would look into it and get back with me, they have never contacted me. When I spoke with them after a week, they now say their company couldn't have perpetuated to do with this fraud. Someone in OneTravel Booking must have given my contact information to someone who used it to prey on me. I just wanted them to investigate and stop this from happening to others.
