A post in a local Hollywood Beach FB group offered Taylor Swift tickets for a show next year. I responded and had a chat with what seemed like a lovely local woman. Our chat exchange was reasonable, and she asked for $349 per ticket x 4 tickets. Said it was her husband's Zelle account - Bryan Kollar is his name. The name on her FB profile is Maria Elise. I can only assume both identities were stolen. I transferred half the money (after a test $10 transfer) to receive all 4 tickets, and then would transfer the other half. She rec'd, said she was transferring tix.. then fee for name change, 24 hours for transfer, etc. Realized it was likely a scam, requested $ back while awaiting transfer. Continued to request the remaining $700 for the other 2 tix. Contacted Bank of America and told them, but they said they can do nothing to stop the Bryan Kollar account until Tuesday. They will surely scam many others in that time. I, meanwhile, would love my money back. :(

Person placed a Craigslist ad for 5 Broadway tickets and offered to transfer the tickets via the Ticketmaster app after receiving payment. Communicated politely via text and provided screenshot “evidence” of the tickets’ existence. After payment, person requested my last name repeatedly, which made no sense given that Zelle provides that. Around 30 minutes post-payment, I hadn’t heard from the person in 5 minutes and decided to call the number I had been texting only to receive an automated message that the number was no longer in service. Did not receive ticket or further communication.
