This company has thousands of videos of people claiming that this make up can cover anything, and it only takes a small amount. They start you with a “try before you buy” and you only pay for shipping and handling 5$ roughly, but neglect to tell you till the very end that they are actually going to take the full amount, but don’t worry, it’s a temporary hold and your money will be back in your account in 1-4 days….. I am on day 6 with my money still not being given back. There is no phone number or address to reach out to anyone. Just an email.

I have been seeing adds for IL MAKIAGE foundation and have been wanting to try it. They say you will only be charged for shipping and have 14 days to try a full size bottle and if you decide you don't want it you can return it for a full refund in any condition. I decided to go ahead and try it since I would only be paying shipping. At the end of checkout it asks if you would like to have the foundation brush as a free gift if you subscribe and have the foundation auto delivered every 4 months. I decided to do it because it states you can cancel that at anytime as well. After making my order saw a pop up briefly that said something about pre authorization charges and about 5 minutes after I got notifications from my bank that 5 charges have been deducted from my account in the total of 194.90 from IL MAKIAGE. I logged in to look and there was a $101.77, $5.42, $32.60, $48.72 and a charge for $6.39. all for a free trial of foundation and a brush? I IMMEDIATELY messaged customer service and got back on the il makiiage website and messaged them there as well that I wanted to cancel everything. I got a response the following day saying it's to late to cancel my order because it's already being shipped but not to worry because they aren't actual charges but pre authorization charges so the money didn't actually leave my account and enjoy a 30$ eGift card on them. I just got off the phone with the fraud department to make sure they are pre authorization charges because the way my account reads it's a purchase. I wouldn't have done this period if I had seen ANYTHING SAYING ANYTHING about pre authorization charges but the only time that I saw that was after checkout. I called wells Fargo Fraud department and the bank said they are charges. The money has already been withdrawn from my account and gave me my new balance. My emails from IL MAKIAGE read like there are 2 orders one showing primer foundation and the brush and the other foundation and the brush. Both are a different shade on the foundation the one I ordered said shade 60. The reason I decide to order from them was only because they seemed to have good reviews and have good customer service but unfortunately this has not been my experience at all and as of now my account has had 194.90 withdrawn from that company and Wells Fargo has verified that it's not a hold it was taken out.
