I saw an ad for "Mush Plushies" on Facebook, and clicked on it. I was taken to the webpage and I browsed over it for a minute. I usually am weary about online websites and their credibility, but I was in a last minute rush for Christmas shopping, so I quickly searched reviews and gathered that it was an OK company. I placed my order for a weighted plushie and the total amount charged to my debit card was $42.90. I had purchased "rush" shipping to receive the package on time, but the product never shipped, even after contacting customer support. I was starting to second guess myself and did some research about the company. It appears that many people (I would guess hundreds, if not thousands) have had issues with this company, and it is a scam. If you do some searching, some of the products on "Mush Plushie's" website are sold by Target, with the brand name "Pillowfort." These are $20 in Target stores and online, while they are "originally" $79 and "on sale" for $39 on "Mush Plushie's" website. I read of people's experience with this scam and saw where people's debit card information was being sold, so I headed to my banking institution's app and searched through my recent transactions. There were no fraudulent charges, but I did notice that the transaction on "Mush Plushie's" website was actually from a company called "Greencrafts.co" and at this time I cannot find any further information about that company. I have sent emails to the supposed "Mush Plushie" company asking for clarification and a refund for my order as I still haven't received it. I am waiting for a reply and using this time to file a report.
