I purchased a swimsuit from Modlily, it did not fit so I exchanged it for a different size. That also did not fit correctly so I wanted to return to get a refund. They said since I chose to do an exchange I was not eligible for a refund and that was in their policy. Plus since it was already in their system as an exchange the system would not allow a refund. The policy stated I could get an exchange or refund but did not state if I got an exchange I could not get a refund. I told them that was unacceptable because I could not use the item. They told me they would allow the return for a refund and once the item was received my refund would be within 7 days. I notified them on the 6th day after the item had been returned to them(per tracking number) to see when the refund would be applied to my credit card. I wanted to make sure I was going to get my refund, because they also asked me if I would accept 20% of the refund and use the rest as an online credit for future use. I told them I was not interested in that and I wanted the full refund. I got an email from them the next morning that an online credit of the full amount has been applied and I would see it when I go to check out on the next item I purchased. Do not use this company, I don’t know how they are still operating because I know I am not the only one this has happened to. I did contact my credit card company and they are helping me with this situation.
