A pop up on social media appeared with a liquidation sale on all their products. Beautiful leather women's boots were 80% off. They were claiming to be a company from Toronto, Canada and they were closing so everything must go. I fell for it. Ordered boots, paid with my MasterCard. I received a confirmation email, but seemed suspicious there were no taxes. All in Canadian funds. A month goes by without receiving the order. I tracked the order through their website with my order number. To my surprise, the departure was China! This made no sense as the website claimed they were a Canadian company. This is when I go suspicious and did some research on the web. Others had fallen for this scam. I emailed them to inquire about the order. They gave me a generic email apologizing for the delay. This is the same story as others have experienced.
