Lixfield offered hard drives for a discounted price, so I bought one. The first red flag was that they sent me a confirmation of shipping email but never updated it with tracking information. However, it did arrive, but when it arrived, it wouldn't work with any computer or any cable, and it was missing two of the connectors and the storage bag their product description included. I emailed customer support first at the email address listed in the confirmation: [email protected]. In a day, I received a response from representative Evie Ward. We emailed back and forth and she said she would process an exchange for me. After that, nothing. 5 days later I sent a follow up email and she responded saying she would get back to me as soon as possible. No response for another week. I emailed the email listed on the website: [email protected]. The same person, Evie Ward, responded and provided me with a return address for the exchange, which I have included in this form as the scammer's location. However, according to the store policy, my return should have been eligible for a free shipping label, and I said so. 5 days later, no response. I sent a follow-up, and she responded "We have some changes in the return address. Will provide you the new return address once available, just wait 2-3 business days for the new information. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience." I thanked her... but received no email for 10 more days. I sent another email, then I sent another email, then I sent another email... by then, 26 days had passed since her last email, and I gave up.

The confusing thing to me was that their website had 20 good reviews for the hard drive I purchased. Doing my due diligence to hopefully warn others of the poor customer service, I posted a negative, but reasonable and clean review to their website. It showed as posted, so I figured my work was done.

I just checked back, and the review has been deleted without notice, leaving only the good reviews. This is clearly a scam.

A fake clothing company that does have a website, but what I didn't realize is that they are taking pictures from other websites, posting them on their own website, and claiming it is theirs. Then sent the completely wrong item in the mail and was only able to reach them through email. Incredibly vague about how I can return the item and receive a refund. Shipping took a very long time as well.
