I responded to an ad for a used washer and dryer. The ad stated that the washer and dryer worked well and were in like new condition. I paid $60 for him to deliver them to us. The machines looked nice from the outside but when we got them installed the washer did not work. The warm water feature does not work and the spin cycle does not work. The dryer had alot of debris in the vent and I fear it is a fire hazard. These were not in good condition nor are they working as was stated in the ad. I have tried to contact the person and he will not respond to calls or text messages. He ripped us off for $545.00 with his false statements about the washer and dryer. He said that he repairs and sells washers and dryers for resale when he was at our house. I am probably not the first one this person has ripped off. Please help us if there is any way to find this person and recover our money. He can have his appliances back.
