False advertisement

On 1/31 I saw an ad for Blooroy.com, offering what looked like high quality, beautiful dresses on Facebook. Their ad offered free delivery over $79, FREE return within 30 days, Made in South Carolina. I clicked on the ad and it took me directly to the item I was interested in. It sounded good, 30-day money back guarantee highlighted in the product description on their website. I ended up purchasing 3 dresses. Only 2 were sent after some back and forth because the items were late to ship, and I chose to cancel the 3rd dress that was unavailable. When they finally sent the merchandise from overseas, only then I was made aware that I was dealing with an international company (KENSE COMPANY LIMITED 48 Warwick Street, London, England, W1B 5AW Company Number: 12606010). On arrival the clothing quality was SUBPAR to say the least and ill fitting... NOT at all what is represented on their website. Material is very cheap looking and poorly made. I asked for immediate return only to find out that their advertised Facebook ad showing "FREE 30 day returns" differs drastically from their ACTUAL return policy on their website. Additionally, I contacted Blooroy to alert them that they failed to initiate the partial refund for the item not sent. They offered to refund $46 for the item never sent though that never happened.Since then they have given me the run around and keep saying their return policy only allows for free returns if the items are defective/quality issues. They offered a $10 refund and suggested I keep the items I paid 10x for, in effect getting stuck with the items I can’t use. That’s when I got my credit card company involved and they were able to successfully refund me the purchase in full. Now Blooroy's customer service is harassing me to return the items to DUBAI for more than it undoubtedly cost them to make the crap they sent me. Since I would happily return the items using a prepaid return label, I have been asking them to honor their original promise/offer made on their Facebook ad. When I sent them a screenshot showing the free return offer, their response was: "Each item in different style, the measurement is also different, we are sorry items don’t fit for you, but that’s not defective or damage, you are responsible for shipping cost for return the order first".1. That’s NOT free return….if you get sent a defective item. It goes without saying that you should get a refund AND shouldn't pay for return. 2. If you do not allow refunds and free returns under any other circumstances then do not post it on Facebook, priming customers on first contact into feeling safe about shopping with them, thinking you have an option for "FREE returns within 30 days". That is not only unfair business practice, it is flat-out deceitful! 3. This company seems to go by many names (Blooroy, Fawye, Isjor, Rowye, Gotyle, Arnuz, Keppal, Browwin, Pappya, Varyl, Crigne, Elwya, Ruturo, Gabrinl, Erhars, Almeye, Ziiera, Erlofe, Tamym, Rycula, Cayred, Eoyno, Hycil, Hyivo, Klynu, Alxoy, Panrila, Zerlle, Hyvio-dress, Yalvis, Evepes, Ryabe, Bonyli, Cefaf, Zaroro, Bonyli, Iblils, Payaler, Zekev, Dyzay, Rufeu, Rowye, Nekyre, Lipylz, Elbevs, Cayay, Cowud, Couwy, Saeoh, Ascety, Havole, Olzyy, Vyfos) none of which are located in the USA as stated.... Although Blooroy denies they are associated with any of the other websites, saying they are "imitators", they curiously all have the same company name and address in their contact info.Needless to say, it is almost impossible to return items. They have known about this problem for years but have not changed their ads on Facebook. One can only imagine how many people have accidentally fallen for their ads. There are customer reviews available dating as far back as 2023. No matter what I say, they keep on insisting I return the items to DUBAI (I didn’t see that coming!) at MY own cost. I suppose so they can send it to, and cheat, another customer out of their money. My repeated requests to provide a prepaid return label have been denied. I also suggested they change their deceitful advertising on Facebook, nothing has changed. This is bordering on Fraud but at the least false advertising. Don't advertise free return shipping if you don't mean it. Who does this? Not a reputable company! They should be shut down. My opinion: Returns are the cost of doing business. They help build confidence in your buyers that they won't end up with something they don't want. And maybe they will feel more comfortable buying from you in the future. This company obviously has no intention of building business with you. They send you items for 10x the amount they will offer in refund if you ask to return them and you are stuck with the items you can’t use. Horrible!

I filed a complaint with the FTC and a Consumer Complaint Against a Business/Company with ROB BONTA Attorney General in Sacramento. I also posted a customer review on Trustpilot and tried to post reviews on blooroy’s Facebook ads. It took about 5 mins before those comments were taken down and I can no longer post on their ads… Beware! Run!

I purchased what I now know is an unlicensed Yankee jacket from Paragon Jackets. It was an embroidered jacket with clear defects. They refused to send a return label for defective merchandise despite me sending photos of the clearly defective item.

When it looks too good to be true, it likely is.

Just an FYI.

This company is a fraud.

www.drumbench.com

Offering metal rolling tool cabinets, too cheep.

Buy one. Started dialog after then reading POOR reviews on line that they do a great job of scrubbing!

Given false tracking and information from their "service" department

My credit card company reversed the charge today and will dispute.

Please just know they are a total scam!

I will research MUCH MORE next time.

Thanks,

Paul
