They also said it would be recorded. I told him I would not record my credit card information and asked to speak to the hotel manager. They hung up.
I just received a follow up call from 1-800-280-3066.
It is a total scam.
What do I need to do to protect my information ?
Also both callers were Indian.

I made no such purchase or did not authorize any such purchase. An invoice was attached, however, I did not open it since it possibly included a trojan to either infect my system or trigger a charge to any Credit Card information that may have been able to access.
No additional information was available. I am watching my Credit Cards and watching for any unauthorized charges
